Customized Music Lessons

Wholly Holistic: A Performance-Based Approach That Applies Momentum To Your Strengths While Nurturing Your Weaknesses

The core of my educational philosophy is that there is no cookie-cutter method to teach music. We all learn differently and understand differently. Plus, right off the bat, there are at least three major ways to learn and play music: classic note-reading, Suzuki-style by ear, and the "Jazz Approach" where basic theory allows us to jam over chord charts.

Like so many kids, I started with Classical piano lessons before teaching myself guitar, joining high school Jazz, continuing studies in college, and after two decades as a touring and recording musician landed at The School of Rock where I honed my craft and received three nominations for Lehigh Valley Music Educator of the Year.

And now my 4+ decades of music experience are at your disposal :) While I specialize in piano and synthesizer, I also teach intermediate guitar, beginner vocal coaching, recording arts, songwriting, and advanced music theory...and usually a little bit of them all combined with an added does of Music History and Tales From The Road.
